Dr. LaTonya B. Bunch is a dedicated certified counselor, educator, and multifaceted professional with a passion for both academic excellence and creative storytelling. With over a decade of experience in education, Dr. Bunch has worked extensively with K–12 schools and universities, helping guide students toward their goals and ensuring they have the tools, support, and encouragement to follow their dreams.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master’s in Marketing, and a Doctorate in Community and Career Counseling—a unique academic foundation that bridges business, communication, and holistic student development.

Deeply rooted in a legacy of leadership and progress, Dr. Bunch is the great-niece of the late Senator Leroy Johnson, the first Black state senator elected in Georgia since Reconstruction, and a distant relative of civil rights activists Roy and Roger Wilkins, whose work helped shape American history. That legacy of service continues to inspire her mission to uplift, educate, and empower.

Dr. Bunch has recently expanded her reach into the film and media industry, serving as President of 11th Street Films and Studios, LLC, where she works alongside her husband, filmmaker and CEO Ticarus M. Bunch. Together, they are building a creative legacy that merges cinematic vision with meaningful impact—telling stories grounded in culture, truth, and transformation.
